I don’t want to talk about...

I don’t want to talk about
The wonders and the mysteries of the universe
And about its vast expanse,

For you’ll accuse me, of being an atheist.

I don’t want to talk about
The curious cultural differences you observe
Because of the gene pool you’re born with,

For you’ll accuse me, of being a racist.

I don’t want to talk about
The socio-economical differences you confront
Because of the name you’re born with,

For you’ll accuse me, of being a casteist.

I don’t want to talk about
The personality differences you assume
Because of the date you were born,

For you’ll accuse me, of being a fatalist.

I don’t want to talk about
The implicit biasness you face
Because of the sex you’re born with,

For you’ll accuse me, of being a self important feminist.
(Well, I don’t mind that one!)

I don’t want to talk about
The ideological differences you affirm
Because of the candidate you've voted,

For you’ll accuse me, of being a treasonist.

But I must talk about
How big changes commence
Because of the little discontent you show,

And you can never accuse me, of being a pessimist.

And I must talk about
How we can together make the better happen
In spite of and owing to the differences we have,

And you would never accuse me, of being a separatist.
